Who Should take this course?
Training on the subject of Hydrogen Sulfide, or H2S, is essential for all oil and gas workers who could be exposed to H2S during the course of their work activities.
The level of training needed depends on the exposure level. Workers potentially exposed to low concentrations typically can take an awareness level training, while workers exposed to higher levels of H2S at or above the Occupational Exposure Limit (OEL) would likely require our more detailed, 6-hour Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) Certification course.
This 2-hour OSHA Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) Awareness Online with Wallet ID Card (2-hour OSHA H2S Awareness Online) course helps fulfill the training requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and 1926, as well as State OSHA standards. It also addresses the requirements for Canada under WHMIS and CCOHS.
For those who need awareness training, but require the training to meet the ANSI Z390.1 standard, we offer a 4-hour OSHA/ANSI Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) Awareness Online course that contains the required items in order to meet the ANSI H2S standard.
Keep in mind that while this course provides information on the hazards of the gas, as well as ways to prevent and respond to exposure, you may require additional training in the use of company specific protective equipment and procedures. Training in equipment use and procedures should be provided by your employer and specific to your worksite.
The objectives of the Hydrogen Sulfide Awareness Training are to meet the Federal OSHA HAZWOPER training requirements ofOSHA 29 CFR 1910 and 1926, ANSI Z390.1

We're excited to announce that this course is available in HTML 5, making it more compatible with the browser on your mobile device (e.g., smartphone or tablet).
This course requires only the most recent version of your mobile device's web browser.
Mobile versions of this sort of training are new, but below are some Pros and Cons that we have noticed during our extensive testing.
During our testing we noticed that tablets work much better than smartphones, simply due to their screen size. The newer the device, the better the result. We are also aware that the course will not work on the first generation iPad, nor older Android Tablets.
Test the functionality of your browser using HTML5 and compare it to the performance of other browsers. If you find other browsers are more compatible than your own, you may want to make the switch.
